Hi, there to all. I have actually allready discussed this issue in the download section of the technomate linux but seems we did not solve the issue.

So heres the problem:

I have TM800 and running CCcam 2.14 all working fine, very stable , motor perfect, hd channels perfect, quite hot but placed external usb fan underneath so all good.

So i decided to insert my Viasat NDS card into TM800 internal card reader, and its not reading the card!
In the cccam web page in the entitlements tab just says no card inserted etc.

The same card no boxkey nothing, is read perfectly in tm500 also running latest UR and CCcam 2.1.4 .

So, for my tm500 i use a cleaned up ccc.config and so initally wanted to use the same for my tm800.

It worked on the tm800 perfectly using it as a client.

But like i said internal card reader not reading card.

So, i though maybe my ccc.config was incompatible so i used the default one you get when you download CCcam from new and still
No card inserted!

Basically i cant get my tm800 to read card from internal card reader :( :(

I only have ever used cccam dont even know about how other ones work.

So can anyone confirm that they have TM800 reading card from internal card reader!!!

Thank you.

Let us know if:

a) you have it reading card using CCcam + version .

b) you have it reading card using any other cam.

Also if so please post your ccc.config.

Here is my custom ccc.config which works perfect in tm500 as server + client and good as client in tm800.

My cccam config from tm500:

Might be an issue with the tm800 and 2.1.4 but i would clean out your CCcam.cfg remove all the irdeto related bits and the loadbalance line as there is only one card reader, these may be stopping it working in the tm800.

If you can turn on debuging an see what the actual problem is.

Just an after thought, are you sticking the card in the right way up?

Si

New firmware just loaded onto box and still internal card reader not reading my card.

Please anyone can you test your tm800 to see if it reads your card, that way i can call technomate and tell them whether its just my unit or something that needs to be rectified for everyone!

Thank you in advance.
