So here it is folks, the official model number:

TM-800 HD

Also, there will be optional WiFi which will be plug n play!!

Lots of developers are currently testing, implementing, etc software for the TM-800 HD now. I also have a sample here but we can't release any more information yet but to say, it's very stable and lightning fast!

As far as I'm aware, it's still on target for an end of March release.

id give it about 4 mins max from being boxed to being apart once i get one lol

Better start saving m'pennies for one of these :Hit:
The wi-fi looks like a smart idea .

its been said around £200

waiting for another member to post their opinions on this though ;)

That's a very good price and if the performance is as stable as my TM600 then I would say (very carefully) that it's a better option than the DM800HD

;-)

Yer certainly better than buying a clone that may go faulty at anytime lol.

i have a tempremental DM800HD original, so if these are as stable as the TM500/600, itll be replacing the DM in the living room, just as TMs have replaced the DMs in the bedrooms

i already have a shiney 500Gb sata HDD to go into it :)

Still really confused, Keep reading and reading but still like :(

So If I wait and get one of these and a nice motorised dish. Do I need a card to get channels? If not what sort of channels will I get? my back garden is due south so is perfect for dish.

If I do need a card what do I get???

Thanks!

anyone know if it'd be able to handle 720p x264 playback ?

I was looking at a lovely all in one box would be just too good to be true too have a box connected to your pc and just stream your divxs/mkvs and media directly to your hd set, but alas dont think it will happen for a long time.

I think a popcorn player/cyber player/WD player may be the best option still for that.

Thanks, but it does not really answer my question, I was wanting to know what kind of service is available with out sharing... will I be able to get the fta HD channels etc?? and others!

without any card or access to any share, youll still get all FTA channels, including FTA HD ones, you can load CAM emulators and softcam files for access to some encrypted channels from a few different satellites, the available channels via this method is always changing though, but at the moment youll get some film, documentary, sport and adult channels

this tm800hd...is it full hdmi 1080i resolution, was thinking of getting the dm800hd, but thats dvi to hdmi....so not exactly hdmi...might wait and get this tm800hd..half the price of a dm800hd...lol

Will be interesting too see the full specs and features of this box, mkv/divx/mp3 streaming lets hope lol
