who does the artwork for these ??

RECORD 3 CHANNELS AND WATCH FOUTH AT THE SAME TIME ON SAME TP

TM-6902 sounds good to me who sells them and why is there nothing about them on the official technomate site.
To use cccam on them do you use the same patches and add ons as for the
6900 super.

first we need to see more of the old TM ones support this to months no new ones patches .like every one see me here helping .i love my TM i got 4 of them .but no one is going to buy the new one and till they see more thing get better to the old ones

i think the 6000/7000 will use the same patches as the existing receivers, not too sure about the 5400 one though

the 'analogue addon' should really be called a component input addon imo

Just bought a spiderbox box to replace my TM 6900 non super, which I am delighted with.I will still be interested in how these models pan out though.

I wouldnt be very pleased If I had bought a tm8000 hd which I assume was meant to be the update from the tm68/6900s. I had a similar situation when I bought the 6900 non super not long after it launched, it was superseeded by the super series (& its advantages) very quickly.
I loved my tms in the past, but in my mind they have a lot to do before I will consider buying another.

This is very sad ....
Evere one knows I'm the defender of TM. Still very good recievers BUT OVERPRICED. Since the VU+DUO & Topfield & Inverto are on the market with cheap but very good HD models Technomate has been behind ......

What A laugh :
Linux TM500 & TM600, TM800hd, cheap boxes with Poor image support & updates, well they are cheap surely :)

This new models : okay, they got it ! They needed to start shipping CLosed HD receivers .... But again overpriced & overdue.... Yeah Dream Media(open receivers) is also overdpriced But what a hell of a support we can find in the public domain !!!

They should have started the shipping 1 year ago, then the price would have been Okay.

I will continue to backup TM but now they gonna piss off a lot of customers by bringing out new models shortly after the 6900HD super / TM7100 / TM8000

I would be nice to compare the old models with then new and tell us what is exactly changed/better with these new models ?

from what i can see, the 5402 is HD, the 6902 and 7102 are DVB-T2 and have the optional component inputs to record HD from external sources

i do agree about them being overpriced though

DOn't get me wrong Digi, they still very good boxes but the pricetag is way too much nowadays !(and a lot of TM owners will agree on this). All this new models = very confusing when you bought a 'new' model.

This T2 , do you think they support all versions of T2 ?(there seem to be 2 versions of HD DVBT )

I have a TM6900Hd Super. A friend recommended TM800. He said that the support for the TN800HD was not very good. Now TM have brought 3 new models out. I am at a loss. Instead of updating the current boxes. TM seem to Infuriate their customers by bringing new boxes out with bits added on. I am 73 I was going to buy a box for Xmas. I'm not as clever as I would like to be in Sat TV. But I can't afford to throw money away on a box which may be obsolete in six months time.
I tried card sharing with no success, it drove me round the bend.

I'll just have to sit back and wait. But waiting for TM is like waiting for GODOT.

Are these the recievers that Darkman was claiming TM would release soon after trying to "copy" the Spiderbox with SiS CPUS ??...
Theres posts on another forum...with Darkman claims je has news from Korea that TM has engineers from Hubtech are trying to reverse engineer/duplicate the Spiderboxes.

yes mate i saw it mate they is a big firght Darkman Angry to TM owners

the new models WILL NOT have any form of built in server connection like the spiderbox.

my view, and i said it at the time, is that the 7100 shouldnt have been released, it came onto the market as a 'luxury?' receiver just as DVB-T2 went live

my view is that the 7102 and 6902 is a slight update of the existing 6900 and 7100 to include DVB-T2, but personally, why would you want BBC-HD via an aerial, when you get it via sat anyway?

if you own a 6900 or 7100, you already get the only channel that this can really get over what you already have, but you get it via a dish

i think theyre aimed more at new buyers, or people about to upgrade to HD

PS, anyone want to PM me a link to where its kicking off? lol, ive looked in the usual places
