Purchased a TM-5302HD 20th August 2014.
Despite six attempts at setting it up, it will not hold all satellites in memory.
Today for instance I setup Six satellites and successfully moved between all of them.
Leaving rxer on 10.0E for about four hours, and then attempting to move to 28.2E Failed, dish would not move!

I have a Smart tv and have disabled shutdown after four hours in tv settings.

The rxer only remembers the last Satellite and channel viewed.
Have been in touch with Technomate via landline, and was offered a software update by e-mail, but as my software is dated May 2014 I doubt if it is of much use.
Would really some help with this matter. Also have done a factory reset. Am using a DISEqc 1.2 Motor.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks manic01 the Technomate website has an update dated 08 May 2014, so please can you tell me where the 01 Sep 2014 is downloaded from?
Thankyou.

Apologies for bothering you again, but, will loading a phantom patch void the guarantee? Rxer is only 18 days old.

Thanks again manic, it's a most annoying piece of kit. Good pictures. Fairly easy to use. Only problem is that it will retain Sats., in memory using DISEqc or USALS. I'm going out into the garden now to enjoy the sunshine. I've had a Chaparral Monterey (Analogue) a real beaut. Also a Phoenix Apollo, which is still functional but again analogue.
Big thanks again.

Oops meant to say Will Not retain Satellites in memory!!

are you using a 36v system as these are pretty useless due to you cant assign your own slot in the positioner memory. i had one on usals motor and its a good feedhunters stb but not perfect... still worth the price now for feedhunting if you can live with the 1.2 flaw, regards mdt

Apologies to all, I have plugged in an old Phoenix Apollo rxer. Same result, seems to me that the DISEqc motor is at fault, will to have investigate further.
Thank you for your time and patience.

Not sure as it's over 10yrs old, and not been used for about 4yrs. I shall have to dig out any info that's lying around. I did a reset earlier using the manual buttons, and switched on again, but still having problems. Have to investigate further. Thanks for the reply!

Update!
Problem was with Antenna, the Zero point was a few degrees out!! Now sorted and, so far I have 12 satellites in memory, all functioning as it should.
The dish was probably knocked while we were away from home last year.
Happy with TM-5302HD Good rxer for the price!

Tracked down the problem.
With 16 satellites in memory from 42e to 30w, I attempted to tune Amos 4.02 could Not locate the satellite, so pressed the Exit button on the remote. Message on screen "Saving" then rxer moved back to the last satellite viewed and the dish could Not be moved to any other satellite in the list.
To get around this I now do Not press Exit, instead use menu to select last satellite viewed and Command "Go to position" Am now entering all sats again.
