New line

Trying to add a new line onto my 5402 , got 3 test lines but can't put them on . My box says cccam and newcam. It won't let me on to cccam but when I go to newcam and change to cccam my des key number dissapears . What I'm I doing wrong thanks

No des key needed on cccam its for n line only.

I've put the 3 test lines in as instructed and its says not connected , do I need to download any else. I do have a current line on it but it getting to expensive. Had this line for 3yrs so I don't know if I have to do anything different to get a replacement line on

Is it a c or nline you have been given?
You can access either by just changing the newcs to cccam .
Or just use a cs info file and load by usb.
Test lines dont generally last long maybe 24hrs so check they are still valid.

It's a c line but to be honest I didn't put them on till 3 weeks after they sent them to me , I told them I hadn't tried them yet but they said they would be ok

Unless you know they are definately active you are wasting your time.

is your line definately as manic01 said active use 8281 to access the hidden menu

you will have to obtain your own server for this , do not ask for one on this forum !! its against the rules to ask

open the cfg file with notepad and you will see a c-line in it ( hostname - port , userID - password
you enter the c-line into your tm like
example c-line C: www.c-line.no-ip 22000 FOX1234 test2 no

break the c-line up in 4 pieces at the spaces between the words and numbers
do not put this in the tm because it will not get connected
always miss this > C: > no
example, they like(goto your server menu press 8281 while watching a channel)

Protocol CCCAM

Timeout: 3Sec

3) ID: FOX1234

4) Password: test2

1) Address: _www.c-line.no-ip

2) PORT: 22000

if it's a n-line you will have to use newcamd as your protocol

if you don't have the server menu in your tm you have to install latest patch and latest add on
