Auto Channel Update?

Can you tell me does this box automatically update if a channel changes frequency such as sly UK seem to frequently do?

No it does not auto update. You either have to scan or reload a channel list with the transponders frequencies in them. If you go to the download section you will find a channel list for 28.2. Just put the file on a usb stick and then upload it to your reciever.

did I not read somewhere on here lately that you can download directly to the box via internet server as long as you have the latest image?

There is a channel update in the box that connects to a server. This is very hit and miss and would rely on the Technomate server to contain an up to date channel list.
You are better off going into the download section on this forum and getting the latest list from here. It will be up to date and contain all the latest frequencies of the transponders.
Both motorised and static (28.2 East) are there. Ferret has just uploaded one recently. link below

The Most popular channel lists which include either motorised by @william-1 or xxxxxx are contained and kept up to date on the TMonline server, if you do not have the TMonline server in your Entertainment section then you need to update to the latest patched firmware for your model of receiver

Sorry to bring up such an old one, but I've got TMOnline in my entertainment section, but the stuff in there seems very old. I could not find the latest channel list. Is there something I need to do to update it?
