Find PDF how to guide attached & relevant patch & Add on.

Please choose the correct firmware for your box where they are 3 different versions for your box where it may say at the front of your box ie. TM-5402 HD M1 CI.

Information from another forum.

Hope this helps.

For this guide to work all you need is a USB stick formatted to FAT32 (if you are not sure just try it anyway!) and of course the Technomate TM-5402HD receiver to patch!

1) Download latest patch and addon files from the the previous post (please choose the correct one for your TM5402 box) and save these to your computer.

2) Extract the patch and addon files from the .zip or .rar files (if they are in them) then copy the patch and addon files to root of a USB stick and connect USB stick to your TM-5402 receiver.

3) Press the USB button on the remote and you should get a screen asking for PIN number, enter 0000.

4) Select Data Transfer

5) Select the latest Phantom patch file (the patch file you’ve just downloaded and put on the USB stick) and then press the OK button

6) Now do exactly the same for the addon file making sure of course you choose the addon file from the menu this time

7) Now the patch and addon has been applied and the TM-5402HD receiver has rebooted from the normal viewing TV screen enter 8281 on the remote control to access the server list, if you are asked to enter a PIN number at this point enter 0000.

8. Select a connection and press the OK button, you can now add or edit CCcam and Newcamd connection:

You can easily work out the details on how to enter your C line details using the example below:

C: exampl.dyndns.biz exampl password 10500
Address = example.dyndns.biz
ID = example
Password = password
Port = 10500

The Credit goes to SatStation

Hi @manic01

I've only got the TM5402 Mk 2 model and never knew the Addon comes built in on TM5402 MK3

Good guide for anyone new to the older M1/M2 version but just to add that all the downloads in your first post have been available since last year in the DW download section and uploaded by @manic01, Might be worthwhile checking previous posts/downloads in future

Hi, So I have the mk3, im looking to see where to add my mgcamd line etc but so far no joy but main question is I dont need the phantom addon even if the box has been factory reset?

Thanks

add via 8281 via the remote control, once the Mark 3 is patched even a reset still keeps the patch as the 'Addon' is built into the main patch on the Mark 3 version
