Is ADDON File Needed In TM-5402 (M3) for IPTV and Internet Access ?

Hi,

Would anyone please be able to tell me if the ADDON002.stb file needs to be loaded into a TM-5402 (M3) receiver to get IPTV and Internet to be enabled?

The version of the ADDON002.stb that I have is quite old. If it is needed, is it still the old file or has it been replaced with a newer file?
