TM 5302HD compared with a TM 6800HD Super

Could anyone please tell me if Biss entry is similar between the above two when trying to access a certain satellite to the West?I've noticed a recent patch(dated 8 March 2014) has fixed a problem in this area so I guess it does work.Cheers Mark

Biss key entry is not the same , the fix was so the receiver could scan in the channels Vid/Pids etc as with older firmware it could not

Thanks for that digi 247, So with a 5302 you can you just scan the transponder,to get the pids,and then enter the Biss code with 8280 or is it more involved and if so,how?
