Technomate TM-500 Super Newbie

Hi,

I'm not into Satellite receivers but a friend of a friend brought me his Technomate 500 and asked if I could reset it for him as the guy who was providing his service wanted 300€ for the year. I had to factory reset the system as he didn't know the FTP password and now I need to setup the CCcam file and channel list.

Can anyone help please, as although I've managed to reset the box and have a good idea of how I need to edit the CCcam file, I feel like I'm drowning as I have an Openbox V8S and that was nowhere near as complicated as this.

Apart from setting up the CCcam file and channel list, is there anything else I need to be wary of before I start uploading files?

The CCcam.cfg should be in var\etc providing you have installed the CCcam emu.

Hi Ferret,

Thanks for the reply. I've downloaded Dreamset and connected successfully to the receiver. Where can I find a channel list?

Tricky on e1 these days.Most would use autobouqets.

Ill edit a list and upload it give me 10 mins.

Hi Ferret,

Thanks a lot for the upload. I think I'll have to wait to download the file as I only signed up last night. I'll try again a bit later this evening and see what I can do with it.

24hrs after your 5th post mate

Hi again,

I've now got a new problem. The box will not connect to the internet. It is connected directly into my router, DHCP is turned on but no internet connection. DHCP is turned on in my router

I can FTP into the box from my laptop and can see the Enigma Web interface but whenever I go into the LAN settings on the box it still says no internet connection.

Any help would be great

Some images report there not connected when in fact they are.

Try download a plugin if there is an plugin feed.

I've tried to download the WeekEPG addon and that gave me the error message "not connected to internet", and no matter the settings I've changed in LAN, I've still got the same error.

I've even turned off the firewall in my router in case this was the culprit

OK, my fifth post was over 24 hours ago yet I still can't download anything.

Try now you may have to logout and then log back in.
