Hi all,
I downloaded a load of skins and plugins from the UR Server and now i have had a chance to look at the skins and try the plugins i want to delete the ones i don't want so it clears up some space on the box.

Anyone know the easiest way to do this? I cant seem to find a way via the remote.

Thanks
Piemagic

off the top of my head, when you enter the first server page, with the options for skins, plugins, channel lists etc, if you scroll down, and off the bottom of the list, you get an addon manager, and in here is the option to remove installed packages m8 :)

yep, you are correct as usual, thanks mate.

Just followed a tutorial for zapstream, no idea what i was doing but it worked!! lol, very useful plugin for me as i only have the one box in my house, so much to learn!!
Are there any other good plugins worth getting? I am connected to tonedeffs blue panel server

Hi piemagic,

both the UR and ToneDeff server have the addon manager that allows you to uninstall plugins that are downloaded, ie, have the uninstall file "var/addons/ name of plugin /uninstall.files".
If you have a look at this file, it will show you what is installed and where for each plugin. Usefull if you need to install a plugin manualy.

As for good plugins, I think you'll find ToneDeff has sellected the best for the TM600/500super on his server.
Apart from his epg work, the backup scripts work well if you have an internal HDD or USB stick, and are worth trying out.

CCcam config switcher & Pli Web Interface are nice.

But back to your original post, I have downloaded the picons from UR server before and even after using the addon manager to unistall, I've been left with directories in my var/picons that cant be removed (or at least I have manage to get rid of them other than by factory reseting).

enjoy

I have managed to delete the directories in var/picons with tuxbox comander. Not sure why I couldn't via filezilla.

Job done.
