A lot of attention and hard work going on the TM800HD :Clap: however I would like to see a new working image for the TM500 Super by New Years please.
Can we not forget the 500Super/600 boxes :)

youd actually be surprised at how much work is going on unmentioned for the E1 TM receivers m8

Yup I agree...but UR Team are a bunch of muppets thats the only explanation their can be...They obviously cant be bothered to implement the widescreen fix...not sure why...
That bug has been there for over a year, as has the CCAM compatibility issue in server mode. These were the 2 things along with lack of image support/choice of dev teams..that made me buy DM500, 600 clones instead of TM500/600. Otherwise I would have probably looked into a TM reciever..
Probably wont bother now even in the future...the software support/images are a joke..the amount of time UR Team has posted on this ofrums sayin..."will be fixed by end of this month" etc etc..is laughable..Fair enough if it was some sort of rare un-needed feature..but normal widescreen display ? I suppose thats what happens when you try to pass of rebadged ITGate recievers as TM products and inherit crap software support teams...and dont want to pay capabale developers to support your hardware...
Its not so much the rytec epg as such m8,
its the ease of use that comes with it,
e.g.
you press the OK button and you can see what's on now on every channel as you scroll through the bouquet,
when you get to the channel you want to watch you just press OK button again,
where as on your excellent MV EPG mod you need at least two press for the same thing and then at least another two to select the channel you want to watch,
plus imo only I think it just looks and feels better/smoother

that's what i was guessing, it's not rytec that people prefer it's the sqlite method of displaying it within Enigma. rytec is just a source for the data and when used in sqlite it gets converted into epgui.dat same format as i grab from sat for MV.

Thats right m8 as tbh rytec epg is crap i.e. flaky and not always available,
whereas the MV epg is always 100%,
so maybe we can merge them or mod MV even more to do what sqlite does
