TalkTalk customer details stolen by hackers
This would be the third time for TalkTalk,
Telecoms giant receives ransom demand and reveals stolen data of up to 4 million customers may not have been encrypted! FFS is this company real! :Angryfire
I set my mum up and my misus business with TalkTalk accounts and until Friday evening was treating this hack as a non starter you know the usual overdone press releases but this is staring to look really bad as the data is appearing on German darknet websites - Full names, email and home addresses, password, secret questions and answers, bank accounts, credit card details and telephone numbers.
They expect the data will be used mostly by cold calling scammers and identity thefts.
Can't log in to change the passwords on TalkTalk site as it's not secure yet, obviously anybody who has used their talktalk passwords for other sites are best changing ASAP.
