I jsut phoned up T-Mobi - as I am at my 12 month contract, i got though to the customer service in seconds (After the annoying menus), staff was helpful, but thier offers for upgrade are crap compared to other networks - and also they dont offer the range of handsets other networks offer.... why is this so - and have other experienced this as well?

Move to VM, same network, better call rates

i just renew a contract with t-mobil FLEXT 35. the original contract was £ 29.29 per month now i pay £ 9.10 per month for 900 minutes allowances for calls and tex.

Do not upgrade the handset you can get nokia on e-bay for £ 150.

T-Mobile arent as flexible with upgrades as other networks like Orange are...

Option 1, Go with another network, take your phone number with you. Get a better deal with another network as a new customer.

Option 2, Stick with T-Mobile, get a cheaper phone and see if you can get a better deal on the tariff and then buy a decent sim free or pay as you go handset.

I'm with yoyo

Every year, I ask for the pac code. After the usual "why do you want the pac code" question followed with the usual "what other reason is their for asking for the pac code" reply, I get put through to the (usually) nice lady who's job it is to do virtually anything she can not to give you the code.

Just mention that you are going to join "3" due to the fact that they offer a load of free minutes. This really offends her (must be where most of their leaving customers go). I always say that their is nothing wrong with T-Mobile, but feel they just cannot compete with "3". Shame that you'll also have to swap your handset as you really like the one that you are using..

Used this for years. The first time I got flext25 for £10 including v.a.t, second time got flext35 for the same price..Remember the bit about the handset (you don't need another handset). Basically bandwidth in relation to the subsidised handset costs nothing. You will always get lots more talktime / txts, etc if you don't want an "upgrade".
