Just want netflix on apple tv type box/firestick

Hi,
i'm renting my house out on AirBnB and want to offer guests Netflix and whatever channels they already subscribe to. The problem is I'm in the UK and don't want or have a TV licence and don't have a smart TV. My question is - can I get a box or fire type stick for my TV which will only give them Netflix or Amazon (whatever they belong to) without them being able to access live TV (if they do that I could be fined massive amounts because no TV licence). I hope this is clear!

Firestick should work fine and You could opt for Amazon prime, if You are thinking of going the other Android box route make sure it is not rooted, as Netflix has stopped working with rooted devices like 4od and demand 5 I was just reading in the latest webuser mag.

Thanks Sneaker - sadly I am very much a beginner - what's a rooted device?
Can I block iplayer and the bbc/itv terrestial channels (ie ones I need a licence for) on a firestick?

I'm sure you can delete iplayer app from it and I don't think you get terrestrial channels on it anyway

@brendanxx as IANB says with a firestick You choose what You want to watch, so You could add Netflix or use amazons tv.
