iptv boquets and epg

need a little help please if al all possible.

VU+solo2, latest openvix
I have installed via script an iptv package,
I was also sent a xml. file for epg and userbouquet.favourites file

I ftp the xml to ect>epgimport and the bouquet file to ect>enigma2.
In epgimporter I selected rytec XMLTV, retec IPTV XMLTV and rytec UK XMLTV, do a manual download and rebooted the box, but not seeing the bouquets or epg.

Am I missing something or am i just better off using e-channelizer to edit

see if you can get a m3u file use e2m3u2bouquet from suls.co.uk – offsec notes and musings will create all your bouquets for you and show help for epg mate

Enable unlinked bouquets in the customise settings menu.

thanks for the info guys, spent ages trying to configure epg, added the xmltv file in epgimport, tried copying the url for epg he sent me as it was and adding into rytec..sources file, no joy with anything I did. googled for as much info on epg and xml and such as I could get but just cant get my head around it. ended up just using e-channelizer and assigning the epg that way.
