putty help

hi guys ! trying to put the iptv on zgemma h2s using putty , how to i get the xtreme link to add into the black box ! ive done it the other way using filezilla and e2 plug in methods but when it updates on the morning it disappears, i contacted the provider and they said to do it using putty but there was an extra £10 charge !cheers

Does the bouquet disappear? If so then have a look within the plugin that performs to update to see if there is a setting to keep the current bouquets? I use a customised bouquet based upon Rats and this is how I have it setup on my box so my bouquets are maintained with each scan.

@imyeman2000 - hold on, the provider wants to charge you £10 for them doing it?
There are loads of providers out there that would happily get this up and running for no extra charge at all. Think they are trying there luck.

I personally wouldn't want anyone on my network doing the work as you never no what elese they would do but thats just me being paranoid....well maybe.

im not sure m8 ! i have installed it for a m8 a couple times and everytime it updates the following day it all disappears, ive used the firezilla to put the e2-plugin with hes id and password in then used the esettings programme to transfer all hes iptv channels and downloaded it to the box and as i say it works great but vanishes the following day ! any advice would be appreciated m8 thanks

i thought that m8 when he told me they wanted another £10 , he has already paid the sub for a year !gonna have a look at what iamateaf suggested ! thanks for all your input guys !

where will i find the plugin your reffering to , do you mean after its on the gzemma box and he goes onto the iptv we just uploaded cheers !

I think you need to define exactly what is disappearing as I was assuming it was the bouquet? Also, what image is on the box?

its running on the ipab i believe ! the bouquets are still there its the iptv channels what are downloaded with the e2 plugin ....gonna try again today, found some things on another forum of how to keep the iptv updating ! cheers will let everyone on here know if it works or not !

So easy to do and takes 2 minutes ,You will need to get the url details from your provider as each one is different linking the app to their iptv service/streams,Full guide below

download putty (ssh)
[h=3]Download PuTTY - a free SSH and telnet client for Windows[/h]
Type the box ip where is say host name ( or ip address) than click open

user type root press enter

Than paste the below command

Example http://digitalworldz.ddns.com/enigma 2 Xtream tv

box will then reboot,Go into plugin and you will see an app called xtreme,There will be a mac code like 00:12:56:00:67

Give the mac code to your provider and he will add it to his portal and then you can click on verify and bingo
