IPTV box which would you say is the best standalone ?

I'm looking for a dedicated IPTV box, which would you say is the best, quickest, easiest to use ?

I've got a mag 254, and previously had a 250, never had any issues with it but never quite got on with the interface of it, always been used to sly, but having said that never been able to fault the quality of streams on it

If you already have an android box, you can install a STB Emulator which can emulate most any IPTV box. Thats all I have done. So I have a iptv sub, kodi and a few android apks all in one device.

There are a lot of cheap deals for Now TV boxes (aka Roku) which are basically streamers for a tenner, shame these can't be hacked and IPTV SW loaded on.

I know you can side load Plex by going in to the diagnostics menu, but not sure how IPTV can run on Plex.

Anyone come across a hack for these??

You can't sideload Plex onto NowTV boxes any longer. Plex still works on Amazon Fire Sticks though if you want a dedicated IPTV device then the Mag254 is what I'd recommend.

would mag be better than say using a firestick or roku stick

Roku 3 will run Plex. The mag254 & Roku 3 boxes have better Processors than firestick, ask the Iptv provider which they recommend

ive got a firestick using perfect player and works flawlessly

I don't like the interface on perfect player it's not very user friendly but I tried it on my fire tablet. Might be better with a remote.
