I have a paid sub which, when working has all I need...but recently it`s been down quite often and the guy who runs the server has just issued this statement-
"Right these attacks are really getting on my nerves. I've never once attacked any other iptv provider and never will. However the attacks on our service the last 2 and a half weeks is just out of sheer jealousy of how good our service is. As you's know I am an honest guy and as such I only want you's getting the high standards I've always set. So until I get the service back to those high standards I will not be taking anymore orders. I know £11 per month is not a lot but to me if you's are not getting what you should be then I won't be selling anymore until I think the service is back to the standards it should be at."

Is this credible or a load of shite?

Probably the latter, my guess is he was using satellite receivers as his source for iptv streams and now (the past 2 & 1/2 weeks) since channels started going off on sky he has no feeds

He may have pulled the rest of the stuff down too, can't exactly charge for free to air content lol

Look around for another iptv provider some even offer a 24 hour test line to try before you buy

Iv started to see a pattern here, maybe iptv isn't the solution or it will filter out the crappie severs who are charging premium prices.

So much of it around, it's hard to even decipher whats decent. There must however be some base principles people follow?

Load Balancing?
Multiple Streams?

The problem also is also your connection itself assuming a certain level of transcoding required or bitrate minimum.

I have been looking for something where I'm not 'tied' to a device in my home, but it's not clear.

The people who are selling these mostly have reseller accounts. They don't have a clue about load balancing or probably how many users are on the servers. They all make nice claims but the reality is everyone going to jump on iptv band wagon and it's going to get worse and worse.

Iv got very fast solid broadband so no bandwidth issues for me however I still find hit and miss.

You should read reviews and definitely avoid 12 month subs.

No one can guarantee 12 month service but everyone is in a panic so they will try to take advantage.

I've just tried a 24hr trial from one place. The UK selection was "okayish" as was the US, but the vast amount of foreign is of no use to me at all. A very strange thing happened also when I was watching golf. It was displaying the Leaderboard with muted sound just before going to a commercial break, the ad started and then flicked back to the Leaderboard for about 5 seconds and then back to the ad.
Sound had disappeared and only returned after changing channel and back to the golf. Thought it must be broadcaster problem but the sound disappeared on another channel soon after. Wired ethernet into my Samsung tv from a gigabyte switch, 150mb BB.

Think I will persevere and try some others to find a good service, but it is a minefield and there are so many to choose from.

I have the same problem. It's like it skips back 5 seconds and plays again.

Lol some sellers might call action reply feature lol

I've had the same problem last few weeks with my IPTV. They also said the problem was down to another provider attacking, I'm no expert but maybe there is a bit of truth behind it

I've now tested a stream on a firestick via app and noticed it sometimes bomb out or glitch - then tested it on my old zgemma which worked better but the channels are all mixed up and the remote is terrible at switching channels. Now will test on a dedicated mag box and report back findings.

Sounds very like i was trialing the same account as this yesterday, golf channel seemed to be stuck in a loop.

A mate of mine has a reseller panel from this guy and is able to buy subs from him at £20 a YEAR.

Can't really expect much for that price. I tried it on a zegemma and it wasn't too bad, some freezing, tried it last night in a mag250 and it was awful, even the bbc channels wouldnt open. I wouldn't even pay twenty quid a year for it.

Think the one I hooked up to may have been a reseller too. His 12 month sub on offer down from €120 to €64. If a server is really good quality there is no need to do that.

I have just got a sub on my android device using stb emulator app, seems ok but not really tested it fully. I have not bought my online, it is off someone I can go and speak to at their place of business.

Mine is back working again.

Attempted denial of service attacks are not uncommon, but this is why you have services such as Cloudflare and Akamai and the myriad of others, all of which if you search enough can be affordable to any provider.

A lot of these 'IPTV' wannabe's dont have a clue, read some youtube vidoes and think they are experts because they managed to serve up some content. This is not to say I am, but I have at least a fundamental understanding of networking, which is its base reason for existence.
