anyone know of a good free VPN that i can use to get bbc iplayer as i am geo locked by google:Mad2:

I would never recommend free VPNs.
Especially running on a computer.

Paid VPN servers make money from there income.
Free VPN servers make there money by gathering data/info ano can key log in worst cases.

If you have a friend in the UK with a PC which is on constantly I'd recommend your own proxy using OpenSSH and PuTTY to create a SSH tunnel :).

Might use about 4Mb bandwidth.

Might need ConnectBot instead of PuTTY if you go the personal proxy route I suggested then.

Totalvpn will do you if you desire

I have been using hidemyass.com for a couple of years and there are loads of countries/servers to choose from. I installed it in my router so all my connected devices can use one account. That may be possible to achieve with other providers as well, of course.

I know, it's not for free, but the free ones have always had a downside or two...
