Geolocking : contraction of geographical locking.
The practice of restricting content to connections from certain a country or countries. Uses your IP address to identify the country you are visiting from, and can be bypassed using a VPN. See also: Geolocking (aka geoblocking) FAQ

IPTV
: abbreviation of Internet Protocol TeleVision.
Although the term covers both simulcast and VoD streaming; when the majority of people talk about to IPTV, they are referring to simulcast services such as plugins for Kodi. When talking about VoD streaming, most people will reference the service being used, e.g. YouTube, Netflix, iPlayer etc.

Recast : contraction of re-broadcast.
The act of receiving, then re-broadcasting a feed. This might be performed over the local network or over the internet. Usually illegal, though some territories allow for personal use (e.g. as a PVR method).

Simulcast : contraction of simultaneous broadcast.
A stream that is available via traditional broadcast means (terrestrial, satellite, cable), and over the internet - simultaneously.

Subscription IPTV
An IPTV service that requires you making a payment to watch; either on a pay-per-view rate, or access for a specified amount of time.

VoD: abbreviation of Video on Demand.
Video on Demand is a blanket term, but is most often used in reference to catch-up TV services such as iPlayer.
