Did anyone else notice

Just wondered if anyone else noticed that after Brazil went down to 10 men our lads seemed to slow right down and didn't seem to have the right at***ude or whatever to carry on playing like they were at first before that incident.

They were attacking fast before the incident but after they just changed tempo and dropped a gear or two.

That is what I thought ... perhaps I am the only one.

At the end of the day we got stuffed by a world class team, they taught us a lesson in the art of playing football.. we cannot complain, they were by far the superior side, at least we got knocked out by a top quality side and not somebody like Denmark.... that would have been embarrasing... the lads are young and will come on for the next world cup... I'm personally so proud of David Beckham for the maturity he's shown in this world cup, what a great leader he's proved to be!!!

Good luck Becks and the rest of the lads... look forward to what we could achieve in Germany 2006!! You did us proud this year... but lets win it next time!!!

Its true that most of us jocks were quite happy to see England get gubbed. I think the reason for this is mainly the arrogance of the so called pundets and commentators (not the players or the fans for that matter) but these guys put England up as world beaters in one half then as puddings in the second half.
They all talk thro their arses and do the side no favours. To say that Brasils second goal was a fluke was criminal and stinks of sour grapes. Seaman was done and that was that but hey **** happens. And yes lightning does strike twice . At least sven and the players admitted that they were not good enough fair enough. I think that the whole tourny has been poor and that a team playing far from their best will win it Probably Germany. If England were good enough to win it then i think that many scots would not grudge them that but what sticks in our throats is all the hype from the English media. The sad fact is that england were far from good enough this tourny.
