Look at the state of this...

That just look's ridiculous.
The distance the managers have to stand from the dugout is almost comical. It must be a terrible view for the fans and some of them don't even get seats.

Has this been given the official stamp of approval ?
I was under the belief that all Premiership Stadiums had to be all seaters and that terracing was not allowed. Also those steps look much higher than the old fashioned terrace steps.

season ticket holder here in the west stand, and i must say that the views are outstanding from my seat - im at the top row as well.
I did get a seat above the tv screen on the sir trev stand for the friendly game against juventus - this was like watching a game of subbuteo in your garden from the first floor. It was also deadly quiet there.

The new stadium is not the boleyn - but it is just as loud.

What im wondering is how long will it be before they give up the olympic legacy and turn the stadium into a full time football venue.

here is my view

That is from the very top of the west stand - the pic makes it look further but take my word its a fantastic view

The strips at the side make the pitch look really small watching on TV. Is it a big pitch?

Like my pic the tv makes it look much smaller, the site is huge far bigger than the boleyn which makes the pitch look small, it is overwhelming big, it feels like we are playing our home games at wembley atm

Ideal. Always kept an eye on West Ham results, my brother has supported them all his life. I can remember the games between Leeds and West Ham and a bit of family rivalry lol

Google/Wikipedia reckon the new stadium pitch is 115 by 74 yd, compared to the Boleyn Ground's which was 110 x 70.
