Arsenal

I was going to log on to a football forum I sometimes go on this evening and give the finger to 10 or so gobby spuds fans who have been a pain in the **** all season and then I thought no point they wont be back for a while.....i did point out to them its where you end up after 38 games not 20.

Not a classic season for the Arsenal, but at least we will be watching European footy on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mind you the way Man City have been playing, a few more games and Arsenal and Chelski would have caught them.

Wow, that was a nervy end to the season lol.

Newcastle certainly did not roll over, Well, you never know Wenger might spend some of the 400 million they reportedly have raked-in in new sponsorships lol, I think the board might gobble it up :)!

The league don't lie, it was harsh on tottenham, but they are used to it now lol.

Roll on next season :)

If Wenger and the board don't spend they are going to feel the wrath of the fans, we have all had enough of this see-saw of Arsenal, I am emotionally drained by the end of the season. Don't get me wrong I am very happy they qualified, but something has to change!

Think Wenger deserves a lot more credit than he is given at times. All this 'not winning a trophy for yrs' stuff is tedious. Yeah maybe a cup, but not the league. No disrespect but they have finished, again, where they theoretically should given the three above them and they have done well to fend off spurs challenge. Finishing in a champs league place consistently for that many yrs is a great achievement. Wengers problem is that put together a fantastic team that once blew everyone away, one where all players peaked roughly at the same time....so it had to end. he has brought fantastic players to Arsenal and brought them on, unfortunately they have more often than not been lured away from the club

Can't believe Real Madrid sold a player with 91 assists in 3 years, and 60 goals.

Can't believe he signed for us with bigger teams out there.

Can't believe wenger paid 42 million lol

Can't complain lol, but a striker would of also been nice :), hopefully it goes well but we all remember Veron lol...

this is awesome, real madrid is going to miss this player

Ozil, while not the answer to the striking problems that Arsenal has, will help make Giroud look like a goal machine. My son currently plays for the Arsenal youth team (under 16) and so I have to be taking him to his trainings and stuff. The atmosphere has become upbeat and everybody is now suddenly believing that Arsenal can actually achieve something this season.

In the last Champions league match against Fenerbache, my friend has a VIP box and we spoke to Arsenal Chairman, Ivan Gazidis who told us that the real reason for the apparent dittering of Wenger in the transfer market is that Wenger will be leaving next year at the end of his contract and it makes no sense for him to bring in so many players only for the next coach to sell them off, cos the new one will have to buy players who fit his coaching style. You heard it first on here. Watch and see

Just saw this tread great signing for you lot, very exciting player and about bloody time too lol.

Yes he has done well with the team he has got but he could get almost any player if he paid that little bit extra instead of buying or extending contracts for crap like Squillaci, Santos, Gervinho, Denilson, Djourou and Bendtner who were on 50k plus a week. Denilson was the highest paid player in Brazil got paid more money than Neymar before his move to Barcelona.

It was touted that David Moyes was in the running, as he has managed Everton on a shoestring budget but it will be Wenger who will choose to leave or not and not by the choice of the board, also it will be Wenger who will appoint the next manager (probably Dragan Stojkovic) as the board does not have a footballing brain between them ever since David Dein left.

Although I like the Ozil signing we needed an experience goalkeeper, centre back, defensive midfielder (Flamini was pure luck) and a striker before an attacking midfielder, no doubt Wenger think's our weakness is the final ball rather than having only three centre backs which one is a long term injury and only one out and out striker (Giroud) not counting Mr 52K Nicklaus Bendtner.

Rosicsky out for the saturday game, so we are pretty sure that Ozil will make his debut vs Sunderland.

Watch out for Marseille tonight lads especially the right back Rod Fanni. :BUMMER:
