Yes, insane fight, but in case you hadn't heard it's on for November at the M.E.N... I thought they used to be good mates... Can't help but think maybe they are still good mates and all this is trash talk is for the show, A Farce is maybe just helping Haye out by giving him a fight while he sorts a Klitsco out - or is that a bit far fetched?

BBC Sport - Boxing - David Haye and Audley Harrison trade verbal blows

haha respect for that link mate - just watched it - comedy gold!

Sometimes it's good to see a press conference where there's a bit of needle between the 2 fighters! And I'm really looking forward to seeing this fight now.

Although all the years on, still nothing compares to my favourite ever pre-fight TV event...

YouTube - I Personally Do Hate Him

i bet a lot of people will watch thoe just for the interest of two english fighters, you never know with heavy one big punch and its all over, Audley has never for me showed how good he is yet maybe its his time , somehow i doubt it thoe..

Well it's shaping up to be one of the biggest all English fights in recent times. It's just a shame it is on Box Office and not ITV1, or would have had all the elements of the Eubank, Ben days. Interesting story about hey they are enemies these days, but I'm still not sold that it's not all just for show.

Here's 2 of todays interviews, you get to hear The Bog Show's opinion on the Sky Sports vid :proud:

Yeah, was out of order saying that and I'm supprised he wasn't more apoligetic. It's the sort of thing you could say to a group of mates if you know their sense of humour and they know you and yours (think Fankie Boyle), but you can't say it in the sports press as a serious statement... Supprised his mum hasn't told him to apologise more than that...

Audrey Harrison is a joke !
If these 2 clowns are the best that britain has to offer then god help us !
i friggin HATE the heavyweight division...its been shit for years !

True, there are no real characters any more.

I'll still be watching the fight though, simply because as intended by all involved in this fight, I've fallen for the hype.

Pretty pointless though as this is 99% nonsense just to get bums on seats and as many PPV subscriptions as possible.

Haye will punch the life out of Harrison and after it they will be the best of mates again and considerably richer than they were before they entered the ring.

IMO, this fight is a final pay day for Harrison from his old mate Haye.

Exactly what I was thinking mate... The hatered just seems too put on. Haye is probably having a whale of a time playing the part and watching his business plan bloom as he always does...

You can't take anything away from Haye though. He is a good boxer and entertaining to watch. He has a very, very good chance of unifying the division, so if I was you's I'd get used to it. I think he is nothing but good news for the scene and most people appart from the Klitschko's seem to think so... After them though there's no one. He talks a good fight and he backs it up. I like him. The gang rape comment, I'd be happy if he made a heart felt apology, and he didn't, so I'm not happy about that, thought he was better than that...

LOL they are like little school kids in the yard... my dads harder than yours blah blah....

Saying that I hope its a good fight :)

heavyweight division is a disgrace, what happend to all hayes hype. why does he keep ducking the klitscho brothers.

them pair were on this morning last week and they were on few other shows togeather all hype sell box office thats wot its all bout

Lol no offence bud but what david haye have you beem following? He has little to no chance of unifying the division, the klitschkos are technical and true heavyweights who maybe boring but are very calculated.

He talks a good fight and backs it up? He's running like a pussy from the Klitschkos, they are calling him out and suddenly hes gone quiet.

Instead optong for a farcical fight against a pathetic "boxer" and i use them term very lightly. By taking this fight Haye has done nothing but to disillusion fans further away from the heavyweight division.

Depends where you want to place your loyalties and who you want to believe really. The Kiltschko Bros think they own the division and want to make Haye jump through hoops and try and make him feel privillaged to be given the opportunity to fight such great champions.

Whereas Haye sees it differently, he thinks they should be the privillaged ones. So with all that the stalling is probably a mixture of money, contracts, tactics and probably a bit of pride in the mix too.

It's far too simplistic to say Haye is scared, he is running, blah blah... This isn't a fight at the bus stop after school, lol, it's big business where a fool and his potential money are soon parted. It's all part of the plan...

This is the sort of crap that has ruined boxing in the last decade. Too many divisions, too many organisation, too much politics. Nobody knows who is the best fighter anymore and fighters can just 3 or 4 weight divisions too easily.

There are a few big fights in boxing that would love to see right now but are never likely to happen.

Can't say anyone can disagree with that. Becasue of money, contracts and egos we will probably be missing out on possibly one of the greatest fights of our times in Mayweather Vs Pacquiao...

hello chaps i personally think harrison has a very good chance of beating haye, haye has'nt really had his chin tested at heavyweight and imo i don't think he will be able to absorb a hw's power, that said harrison has to land his shots and we all know how reluctant he is to get into a fight, but i think he will see this as a last chance to fulfil his claims of becomeing hw champ that he's been spouting since winning gold in 2000,i sincerely hope he does,nt win as a champion should be a gladiator prepared to lay everything on the line, boxing has been in decline for years,i have 30 years worth of boxing news and over 400 vhs but nowadays i'm more inclined to watch ufc and other mma promotions because they are nearly always meaningful fights, one last point if haye ever doe's step into the ring with either klitchco he will be in for a beating,he has a slim chance against vladimir as he is definately a bit chiny but vitali is definately not,i think it will only happen when haye gets offered enough money that he cannot refuse.all have a good day.......
