12:45 St Johnstone vs Rangers

Jody Morris is rated as 50-50 to feature for St Johnstone against Rangers after missing the midweek 5-1 thrashing of Hibernian with a stomach injury.

Filipe Morais is expected to return from an ankle problem in the SPL clash to boost manager Derek McInnes, although Kenny Deuchar replaces him on the sidelines with a similar injury.

Peter MacDonald had knee surgery on Friday and has been ruled out for around a month, captain Kevin Rutkiewicz is on the brink of making his comeback from a knee injury, while Stuart McCaffrey (groin) and Martin Hardie (knee) remain sidelined.

Rangers manager Walter Smith has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip.

The Ibrox side made six changes for their midweek Scottish Cup win over St Mirren.

And, despite coming through the tie unscathed, Smith is set to ring the changes again with the team likely to take on a more familiar look for the trip to Perth.

15:00 Celtic vs Dundee Utd
Celtic can ill-afford to drop any more points in the SPL title race when high-flying Dundee United visit Parkhead.

The Bhoys are still reeling after surrendering a two-goal lead to Aberdeen while the Terrors left it late at St Mirren last weekend.

Tony Mowbray will be without Aiden McGeady and Darren O'Dea against United through suspension.

O'Dea is out after being sent off at Pittodrie last week, while Aiden McGeady is banned after going over the disciplinary threshold.

Andreas Hinkel returns to the squad after recovering from a thigh strain, but Glenn Loovens, Jos Hooiveld (both hamstring) and Shaun Maloney (heel) all remain sidelined.

Dundee United will welcome back captain Andy Webster following injury.

The on-loan Rangers defender has overcome a calf problem, and Mihael Kovacevic is also back after undergoing a nose operation but the game comes too quickly for Paul Dixon (ankle).

David Goodwillie has a stomach problem and is doubtful, while Francisco Sandaza (groin), Lee Wilkie (knee), Danny Cadamarteri (calf) and Scott Robertson (groin) are all out.

15:00 Falkirk vs Aberdeen
Aberdeen travel to basement boys Falkirk aiming to bounce back from the midweek Scottish Cup exit.

The Dons were humbled by Raith on Tuesday night and Mark McGhee will be looking for his side to show a response at Falkirk.

Aberdeen will be without highly-rated young star Peter Pawlett as he has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery.

The visitors should be able to call on Zander Diamond and Charlie Mulgrew with the pair recovering from illness.

Mulgrew missed the Raith debacle through illness, while Diamond was forced off at the break as he was sick, but both players took part in training on Thursday.

Striker Carl Finnigan is a doubt for Falkirk after picking up a knock.

But Vitor Lima returns after missing the 3-2 defeat by Hearts at Tynecastle.

Pedro Pele (Achilles) remains on the sidelines while Jackie McNamara has joined Partick Thistle on loan.

15:00 Kilmarnock vs St Mirren
Kilmarnock will be looking to make it four SPL wins on the bounce against St Mirren at Rugby Park.

Manuel Pascali is back for Kilmarnock after recovering from the leg injury which saw him miss last week's win over St Johnstone.

Frazer Wright (ankle), Ryan O'Leary (knee) and Allan Russell (thigh) are now back in training but the visit of the Buddies comes too early for them, while Mark Burchill (hamstring) is still out.

Jack Ross will miss St Mirren's trip to Kilmarnock with an ankle injury.

The Buddies defender underwent a scan on a leg injury picked up against Rangers in midweek and will be out for several weeks with ankle ligament damage.

Manager Gus MacPherson has several players carrying bumps and bruises but is hoping all will be fit.

15:00 Motherwell vs Hibernian
Motherwell will again be without Marc Fitzpatrick and Shaun Hutchinson for the SPL visit of Hibernian.

Fitzpatrick will be out for around two months with a hamstring injury while Hutchinson continues to battle the same problem.

Manager Craig Brown otherwise has no fresh injury problems.

Hibernian striker Colin Nish will miss out after being sent off in Wednesday night's 5-1 thrashing at St Johnstone.

Nish is suspended for three of Hibs' next five matches for kicking out at Saints defender Michael Duberry at McDiarmid Park.

Midfielder Kevin McBride is still missing with a hamstring injury, while manager John Hughes - who will be on the touchline prior to starting a six-game ban of his own on 6th March - may wield the axe following the club's heaviest defeat since he took charge.

Sunday 21st February
15:00 Hearts vs Hamilton

Laryea Kingston could make his first appearance for more than two months in Hearts' home clash with Hamilton on Sunday.

Ghana midfielder Kingston has been dogged by a hamstring injury, in addition to falling out of favour under former manager Csaba Laszlo.

Jason Thomson (knee) should return, but Ian Black (knee) is doubtful and Michael Stewart is suspended, while Andrew Driver, Ruben Palazuelos, Scott Robinson, Craig Thomson, Johnny Stewart (all knee), Ismael Bouzid (hamstring), Jamie MacDonald (ankle) and David Templeton (foot) all remain sidelined.

Hamilton expect to have captain Alex Neil and fellow midfielder James Wesolowski back in the squad for Sunday's clash.

Both returned to training earlier in the week following hamstring problems.

Former Celtic midfielder Nicky Riley could come into the squad after signing a short-term contract but Dougie Imrie is suspended and Mickael Antoine-Curier (knee) remains on the sidelines.

SPL round-up and pics

With Rangers' trip to St Johnstone postponed, Celtic took the opportunity to close the gap on the leaders.

A frozen pitch at McDiarmid Park put paid to the Gers' hopes of extending their 13-match unbeaten run.

Celtic made the most of their Glasgow neighbours' lack of activity by trimming their advantage at the top to seven points.

Robbie Keane was among the goals once again for Tony Mowbray's men as they saw off Dundee United 1-0 at Parkhead.

Kilmarnock are flying at the moment but they were denied a fourth consecutive success on Saturday by struggling St Mirren.

A first-half strike from Chris Maguire looked to have seen Killie home, but Billy Mehmet rescued a point for the visitors late on.

Falkirk gave their survival bid a welcome boost with a 3-1 victory over out-of-sorts Aberdeen.

Pedro Moutinho, Darren Barr and Enoch Showunmi were on target for the Bairns as they helped to pile further pressure on Dons boss Mark McGhee.

Hibernian remain in third place in the table, but they slipped to a 1-0 defeat away at in-form Motherwell.

Well, who are now unbeaten in eight SPL fixtures, made the most of their numerical advantage following Liam Miller's dismissal and took the spoils courtesy of a Jamie Murphy effort eight minutes from time.
