champions league 2010/11

does the winner of the spl go straight into the group stage of the champions league this season?? i heard that the winner does and second and third place play a play off rounds but i thought we only got 2 places in scotland for the champions league

yes SPL champions go straight into group stage, with runners up having to qualify first

i had a wee look into it m8 ans as far as i can see the winners of the spl will play in the Third qualifying round and the runners up will play in the second qualifying round ,due to there points tho im not 100% sure

depends on the team that wins it this year. if they win thier own league as well then spl winners go straight into group stages, as far as I know.

i meant this year mate is there a play off or direct into the group stage for the spl champs

spl champs might be in a play off.

but if the winners of this years champions league also win the league in thier own contry depending who it is. then i'm pretty sure that scottish champs move up a place that takes them into group stages.

but I could be wrong, I heard it on radio scotland.
