Doesn't really matter if Owen signs for Man United cos he's free...does not affect the transfer budget in any way. If he emulate what Sherigham and Larrsson did when they were brought in (both of these raised eyebrows) then brilliant, if not then oh well money wasnt wasted to bring him to united.

As for United not being able to sign players they wanted, that hardly makes any team a laughing stock especially not when they're winning silverware year in year out. I'll say again if this type of rubbish makes a team a laughing stock then what does it make liverpool?
