Middlesbrough defender Ugo Ehiogu has agreed a deal to join Rangers and passed a medical with the Ibrox club.

The 34-year-old has some issues to resolve with Boro before his registration is completed.
But former England centre-back Ehiogu will train with his new team-mates on Tuesday and should be available for Saturday's clash with Hearts.
The Glasgow club's manager, Walter Smith, told Rangers World: "He will give us a bit of steel and experience."
Rangers expect the move to be ratified in the next couple of days.
Ehiogu is thought to have agreed to sign for the Scottish Premier League outfit until the end of the season.

The clubs had earlier come to an arrangement to allow him to join on a free transfer.
Boro are happy to let the former England defender leave on a free transfer after six years' service.
Ehiogu, who has made almost 150 appearances for the Teesside club, will become the second veteran central defender to be signed by Smith since he took over from Paul Le Guen.
David Weir has already arrived from Everton.
"We need a number of players between now and the end of the season, especially as we have European matches coming up too," said Smith.
"Like Davie Weir, he will help all the younger lads around him."
Ehiogu, who won four England caps and made 150 appearances, signed for Boro for a club record £8m fee from Aston Villa in 2000.
He joined Championship strugglers Leeds United on loan at the end of November and featured six times for Dennis Wise's outfit, scoring once.
His loan ended on 1 January and he has since played for Boro in the FA Cup.
Ehiogu won two League Cup winner's medals at Villa under Brian Little and made his England international debut against Italy in 1996.
