How to connect NewCamD Client on your box

- Go to Menu
- Accessory
- Network

You can add IP = 192.168.xxx.xxx (if internal)
or
Host Name - xxxx.no-ip.info (if external)

Port - xxxxx

User name - xxxxx

password - xxxx

DES Key

and APPLY

Nice one, will defiantly help some of our "stranded" users to get back to viewing some good telly.

Ive got newcamd and cccline both running alongside each other in the server set up section on spiderbox 7000 - but what is the newcamd server set up for if they both work in server? I dont have newcamd server setup enabled its off but its as if its not needed.

I have my details of a free server to enter but the details i have are more to put in than the tutorial above

Do not use freeservers, if you do use at your peril.

Thanks manic01 i am new to this and as you can imagine it is a minefield trying to find one.
i also wanted to try to see if i could set it up before a purchased one

Go to a pay server and get 24hr test line couple of quid at most, you will find them in Google. good luck.

Superb post works a treat on my HD7000 for over a year now

But entering onto a SD5000........ not happening for me ??

Enable on
Softcam Newcamd
Server (192.168 etc no problem )
Then says
Port from
Port To
Authorization (not a problem)

Anyone using a SD5000 with a N line please stand up and advise how to enter sucessfully
