    Remote Internet Access to Boiler

Looking to change my combi boiler controller and wanted to access it through the internet on my Windows Mobile Phone any ideas on which one to buy ... Don't want a subscription I would like to buy it outright.

    Thanks

I use Worcester Wave, but you'd need to check for Windows version of the app.....

On Windows Phone look in App Social, the App you want is "Evohome Remote"

Sorry to hijack thread but what is the Worcester Wave like? I wanted to get one but had to change some valves or something as I have sealed system.

I find it great TBH. It does NOT control individual radiators, just the overall heating, and/or got water system..... search YouTube for Worcester Wave and there's some decent vids on it.

You can use home presence detection where the controller detects your phone (with the Wave app on it) and you preselect the temp for when you're at home. You set night temp, away from home temp, weather compensation etc to suit.

I just set the radiator TRVs to suit each room. Pretty much set and forget.

Can do screenshots of the app and a link to decent setup articles on it later if the YouTube stuff isn't enough.....

I think I read something about Windows phones no longer being developed..... not likely to be any apps coming along for that platform if that's the case....

Thanks il have a look iv got a cheapo salus rf one at moment with 2 timers only. Only problem I have is my boiler is now in loft and programmer is under the stairs but the additional cables needed are no there and for hot water control the boiler would need a change in some valves.

Pretty inefficient as timer comes on day and night even when away for weekend.

There's loads of smarts thermostats now worst comes to worst you could upgrade phone?

Im liking the look of the eccobee3 but not available here. I can't believe British Gas want to charge £9 per month for there version. It's OK if they upgrade it when a newer version comes out I guess but I rather just pay a one off fee.
