although it works on my et8000 i dont get any updated channel lists when they occur.

I really dont know what your on about now, I got told off someone I know who heard from places very very high up the food chain at sly that big changes were happening in Jan.
I dont make a point of coming on a big forum with claims of "The sh!ts gonna hit the fan" claims unless I was pretty sure the rumour was worth a mention and by all accounts it was a dam good rumour .
I only passed it on to prewarn people from buying say a 36month gift box.
I know jack crap about cs apart from the usual usb and load files from that.
If you think it were a guess thats fine by me cause tbh im not ar"ed either way.
The rumour was right so in theory, it wasnt a rumour but more like fact.

Subscribers were recieving letters as far back as November 2016 that any sd boxes still in circulation would be discontinued by the end of december 2016...so your high up placed mate read an email basically...
No sky engineers know whats going on and tbh with sly i think NDS control it all with sly on a need to know basis as well...imagine the memo

Are you still saying that there is no SD boxes out there to view sly tv?
I am trying my best mate to get some understanding of your post as I have had to ask twice with no answer.
What question do you want answered?
I said sly sent letters to subscribers claiming sd boxes would cease functioning in december(this is the idea the mofo members said hey its all going down lets post this shit and confuse people)

Simple answer for anyone worried about c/s coming to an end,Either look for a good iptv provider who does all the channels is full HD which means most streams are sourced outside the uk so wont be affected,Other option is to set up a motorized dish which will enable you to get over 6000+ channels and a lot in HD,you can set up a full epg guide on both with some work,I run both options without any problems what so ever,Depending what box you have then all can be done using just one box,I use a quadtruple tuner xtrend et 8500 and run full iptv,motorized dish and sky uk all on the one device
