Great news, we can confirm that Sky will continue to carry the Discovery and Eurosport channels. This means you can still watch channels including: Animal Planet, Discovery HD, Discovery History, Discovery Home & Health, Discovery Science, Discovery Shed, Discovery Turbo, DMAX, Eurosport1, Eurosport2, Investigation Discovery, TLC and Quest.

hope it was sly that caved in & paid more for it but no doubt price increase shortly

Glad they got it sorted, called sky today to speak about tv and phone and ended up with a right plumb on the phone.

Depends on who you believe, seem like they're still not in total agreement.

Sky Said:

Sky UK CEO Stephen van Rooyen said (emphasis ours): "The deal has been concluded on the right terms after Discovery accepted the proposal we gave them over a week ago. This is a good outcome for all Sky customers."

Discovery said:

"The deal we reached with Sky is meaningfully better than our former agreement and their proposal. Furthermore, our new arrangement enables us to control our destiny in more ways, with even more opportunities to invest and launch channels and consumer services. Stay tuned in the coming weeks."
