Does anyone know what the USB & SATA ports in the Sky+ HD box is for?

they are not enabled in the firmware so they are not for anything that the user can access

Thanks

I had a standard box for 12 years and the RS232 port was never used, so what's the point of having 3 ports (RS232, SATA, USB ports)?

The network port only works if you have Sky broadband, I did not know this/did not read the small print:specsavers:. So my 500gb box is really a 250gb box unless I subscribe to Sky broadband :Angryfire, a lot of people have complained to Sky as like me we have got VM broadband and not looking to switch to Sky :ASSFLASH:.

Well unless Sky can provide 100mb broadband I wont be switching lol, lucky if I can get 6mb using adsl2+
