had the mini dish up on the wall for years and its currently being used for freeview

also have a 85cm motorised dish for main lounge using a vu+

im getting sky installed soon as i was wondering if they would fit a new dish up and feed it to another room in the house.

i hear you only allowed 2 dishes up then council permission is needed.

will the sky engineer refuse to fit?

if they do refuse, i guess they can use the quad lnb on the current mini dish hey?

Thanks!

nah mate most wont ive been to jobs theres been 2 dishes with octs and ive just fitted another one n got on with it

if been used for freeview ask engineer is he can chuck quad on and keep the feed in place.

Council should not have problem with your property unless it is council property. I think you should get the old dish replaced and get a (T) inside home to feed 2nd box. hope this will help

you cannot T a satellite feed.

you can only have 2 dishes without having to have planning permission, one dish up to 1M and a 2nd one up to 60cm.

sly generally fit quads as standard now, so theyll just swap the lnb and run new feeds to the sly box and leave your existing feeds in place
