Got Sky coming on Tuesday and want to run a draw wire and drill all holes so they follow my cable route not theirs. Having Sky HD so assume that it will require the shotgun type cable. Might also try to upgrade to multiroom in SD so what size cable is this one. Am I correct to assume that hd + 1 multiroom will be 3 cables at the LNB? PS want them to use my old dish 90cm from my Sat DBOX days do they carry adapters? Will also run the phone lines to the box

Cheers

they dont carry adaptors for other dishes m8, if you want this, youll need to get a quad LNB on that dish before they get there, and make sure none of the bolts are seized up as itll need realaigning

10mm holes will do for the single CT100 they use, as well as for the thinner shotgun cable they use

damn, i am glad i ain't installing yours LOL.

i drill a 10mm hole and feed cables through that. yep, 3 cables at LNB for HD and a STB unless they future proof and twin so no need to rip out and rewire if you upgrade to to SKy+ or HD in multiroom.

why want to use old dish, you mean that Jodrell Bank thing, i hate those, let them fit a new Raven zone 1 dish.

phone lines, only needed if having multiroom. i hate wires everywhere.

Ok will let them install a new minidish. But will prepare route and drill all holes.

Cheers
