Article 50 and the legal challenge

I cannot help but be amused by this.

The Government put up no more than a perfunctory fight in the High Court. Some would suggest no more than a delaying tactic.

As for the Supreme Court, surely a televisual spectacle of little consequence?

Others more learned than myself have commented, should Moderators approve I will post a link.

Irrespective, I doubt this issue will be decided in a court of law.

I tried to watch it mate . Then I got sort of lost one " expert " saying scotland don't need to vote another saying yes we do . Both sides of the political divide in the north of Ireland saying brexit could lead to a break down in peace process . Wales I don't think have pipped in yet . As far as I can see it's just another waste of money .

Not watching to be honest. The UK has no written constitution, this means any Act can be repealed. No go on Article 50? Repeal the prior Act. Not rocket science to be fair.

Controversially, if Scotland had voted out of the UK, the provision could have been repealed too.

    Apologies to Madam Sturgeon, obviously.

The link below refers to the Article 50 case now before the Supreme Court. An embedded link provides further detail on the case brought by Gina Miller and originally presented to the High Court.
