I will be voting to get out

For me sovereignty and control over our own borders and who we let in or throw out far outweighs any concerns over business, besides I think free trade agreements will benefit us in the long run and put us in a stronger position

I can see the Euro zone going tits up shortly, the Greeks have their begging bowl out again and the Italian banks look set to fall

G.T.F out !

At present I am undecided, I don't feel I know enough on what border controls and trade relationships will look like after the exit.

What I do understand though is that if we look at the Switerland model or even Norway to that extent. They are not part and parcel of the total European Member states. However they do operate under the single market trade agreement.
What price do they have to pay for that? Well it is actually known.
To trade as part of the single market they have to allow the freedom of movement of people.

So on the face of it, we will have no control more control over our borders than we do whilst we are in the EU.
It is also worth saying we do have control of our borders at present just not with in the european Union.

I will try to absorb as much as I can over the coming weeks / months but I can imagien it is going to be very difficult to sort the truth from the spin as both sides argue.

I'm going for out at the moment, the EU is a bust flush in all but name, the tidal wave of migrants seen to that, we should have the power to say no but they dithering faceless eurocrats just cant see it, merkel needs shot for that "everyone welcome" comment, if and when schengen is suspended that'll be the end of the road for what was a stupid idea to start with.

I think the eurozone could crumble if we leave!

Greece is at it again lol.

The U.K. Is one of the big players in Europe.

I see the good points of being in Europe - free trade etc.

But I just want to see if we can do it on our own, the old Agincourt fingers up springs to mind

I'm out!

Mick

After we were forced to keep Abu Hamza here and all people like him by the European court of human rights, I cant wait to leave

Reading these posts reminds me so much of the Scottish referendum a couple of years ago. 8/10 people I knew said they'd vote to leave the UK (and I know a fairly broad cross section of peeps) yet that vote went the other way.

If the government wants the UK to stay in the EU that is what will happen.

My current feeling is to leave but I don't know enough so will listen to both sides and make an informed decision.... I just can't help but feel how various faces of the public sector could so easily be put back into the black by using the £ we have to give them a day just to be a part of the EU, and that's without the burden that could be lifted on the NHS if we didn't have to fund the foreign hospital tourism

Out for me, I will keep reading and gathering info about it but can't see me changing my mind

I think most people are voting out because they are fed up and because they want change, I understand that but I am not sure if it would be a good change.

If we look at immergration and border control, there is no free movement into the UK (there is still passport control) hence the camps in France, currently our boader control is in France this is an EU arrangement. So if we leave the EU that arrangement will stop, so will the camps end up in Dover??

Personaly I think we are better of in.

Its an out for me.
Some of the laws and regulations that we have to adopt are ridiculous to say the least.

It is nothing to do with the EU having boarder control in France . It is a deal between the UK and France .

Immigration minister steps into French border controls row | UK news | The Guardian

It is being used as a scaremongering tactic however.
