I notice that Farage is now denying that whole '£350m for the NHS' stuff - which once again shows he's the lying toerag he's always been. And yet someone must have believed him.

I see this on GMB this morning and once again the presenters make such a big deal out of things and stop the tape on re shows to show you what they want Lol thats if its the same clip you are referring too

Personally I never thought that the whole 350m would go to the NHS just a proportion

I can't imagine that anyone believed all of the savings would be spent on the NHS!

It's just the devastated progressive leftist media grasping at straws, trying to discredit the leave campaign. Note how she calls it "propaganda".

Quite impossible to even 'guesstimate' where the 'saving' might go or even how much/little it might be.

Love and cuddles to Jon Snow and Channel 4 who still think immigration was a major factor.

Massive lolz

Immigration was a major factor.

rightly or wrongly , the voters considered it concern enough to leave the EU

You just need to trawl back through this thread, if you can be bothered, to see that some poor mugs did believe it I'm afraid.

You seem tense nara, any particular reason? Although this is now a moot point I'll entertain you.

I've read the whole thread and have been looking back at it periodically all day.

I'm sure most people, like myself, did not believe that all of the savings would be spent on the NHS for ever more. It just happens to be something the europhilic media could get some purchase on. It was just like an advertising tagline, they didn't have paragraphs to break down how the money would be appropriated. Imagine every politician literally enacted everything in their campaign.

Not to me.

My point was, where did Farage suggest this?

I can't see why people are making a big deal of this nhs £350 mil thing. The leave campain never had any real power in this debate, they may have made comments about where money paid to the EU could go if we opted out, but I'm sure people knew they couldn't make these changes as none of them are in a position of power to do that. All they did was fight the leave corner.

Now if Johnson or Farage get into power (God help us) then We could moan if they don't follow up on their comments.

PS Also I'm glad it's over no matter how it turn out. And I hope all members of DW good health and prosperity what ever future You choose.

Personally I don't think either would give You ten bob for a plaster if You were bleeding to death.

Try Gove for 'gravitas' but lack of presence or Leadsom for lack of exposure but 'wick'.

This is retrospective but rather interesting. It should be mandatory listening.

Listen to all of it before commenting please :).

Thirteen minutes of Nigel's Little Englander jingoism? What have I done to deserve that?

Ok, I disabled my bullshit detector and stuck it out, despite the urge to lob my ipad out the window about halfway through.

What sort of comment are you looking for?

I have watched many of Farages' speeches from Brussels. The man has real balls and pulls no punches.
Unfortunately he's in the wrong party to become Prime Minister. I would vote for him in a shot.

I'll probably get shot down for this lol

We have had the same parties doing the same damage for decades, what harm would it do for a party leader with balls to run this country ?
My local UKIP MEP has gone out of his way for local people
I had a small issue recently that really only affected myself, I contacted my Conservative MEP and it took him 8 days to reply to my email, after 3 days I emailed the UKIP MEP and he replied withing 10 minutes via his phone and has kept me updated with council meetings since

Sorry off topic

The only way you would see that is if Farage jumped party and I doubt that will ever happen. We are not going to have any MEP's in the near future so were are they all going?
