Still Lost and Looking for a Better Place.
Would like some advice please.
It is for a 9" Fontab KitKat Tablet, the original advertised price was £219 (which I am taking with a pinch of salt), that I could order with a code that will allow me to buy it for £45 plus £9.99 p&p.
The only difference will be 16GB SD Memory Card instead of 8GB.

Here is the Tablet ::

9" Android 4.4 KitKat Tablet PC with Bluetooth + Starter Bundle - Android Tablets

Stay well away from any site that is selling a low spec tablet for high spec price, regardless of any voucher discount m8,

Its only got 512MB ram and 3000mah battery so at best it only just about worth the discount price

Have alook on amazon for better spec for in or around the same price :)

Thanks Wiz, I have never had a Tablet and really wouldn't know what to look for, it wasn't the huge discount that made me wonder about it, but the overall price of £55 which appeared a good price for a 9" Tablet.

For the overall price its not bad in fairness but maybe try elsewhere to actually buy it or something along those lines :)

It's just a cheap and tacky generic Chinese tablet flea bay is full of them..
For around £45 it may be worth a punt but these tablets generally grind to a halt after a while as there is no proper OS nor has updates..your lucky if they last a year at most.

Check aliexpress.com for cheap tablets, be sure to check the specs. I've got a few phones/tablets and had no issues (however some people have had) its the same as the ones on eBay but just cheaper. Last one I bought was a 10.1 inch tablet similar to iPad mini

Been there done that and it's now gathering dust on the side. Buy cheap buy twice.

I bought my son a cheap tablet last Christmas. Cheap Chinese type, ran slow and pretty soon the battery was lasting around 30 minutes. Maybe look into something like a hudl, hudl 1 has been good for my daughters, hard wearing and still running fine after 2 years or more.
Really just throwing money away with the cheap tablets

The only trouble with Hudl is that you cannot replace screen if cracked/damaged ( you can get it done but it's cheaper to buy new one).

Bear that in mind.

Hudl 2 using clubcard vouchers, if you know anybody that has them, is a cracking deal. Not sure if you're looking for a 9" tablet specifically though @D 8 RCS ?
HH.

Wasn't really looking for a tablet at all, it was just that it appeared to be a price that couldn't be passed up.
I'll just keep repairing my laptop when it plays up. lol

In my opinion if you are going to buy a tablet you should be looking to spend £100 upwards for real quality. Best value for money in my experience is the Hudl2. I have a Nexus and a Nvidia Shield myself which i consider future proof for at least a few years.

Yup, Id go with the Hudl2 as well. Had a few cheap ones in the past: poor viwing angles, no proper software support, battery life getting really poor after a few months. Have 2 Hudl2 now: next one is going to be mine (cant get them off the misssus or my eldest!). Not as good as an iPad but for the money, it's the best value tablet ive used. Put Novalauncher on it to disguise all the Tesco bloatware crap and it's a belter.
