Some of the things that you have said manofscience, I get. but some of that stuff off the writer is pure "alice in wonderland" stuff. Overall, I enjoyed the series, some great characters that we really got to know. The series watched like a good book and I REALLY enjoyed seeing the characters...

lol, i think you guys miss the point. What would be the point of hacking something if nobody ever knows it was done. Hacking this kind of thing is done for a variety of reasons, but one of the top reasons is to piss on the establishments who want to rule the world i.e. massive global companies...

No point having games if u cant play em online so u may as well take the update. I think it is such a good system that is constantly trying to move forward, updates are just part of that. Much like pc games, if you dont update to latest version you end up playing on your own !

moved house recently to a area with no virmin so had no option but to go to sly ! so I have had both on HD and I would say Sly just shades the HD tv side (mainly coz they wont let no-one else have their sports and movies on HD ) although catch-up and on-demand on Virmin is a lot better and so...

The news on the web is that the official firmware has been decrypted, its just a wait and see now, to find out if a custom firmware can be adapted from it. Apparently there is a lot of new anti-piracy stuff been added so its gonna take time.
