    No, the Pi 2 doesn't have the power to handle the transcoding. Rasplex works great as the client though. I use an old laptop, got rid of Windows and installed Linux and Plex Media Server. The same server can also handle any automated rss torrent downloading.

    The patch panel is useful when re-wiring a house. All the wall plates are then connected to a numbered patch panel. Easy to manage cables after that when the wall plates need to be used, especially for double -socket wall plates.

    Software combining pdf files

    PDFmerge is still handy if you need to join PDF files together . . . like add on a signed page without having to print & scan a complete document again. Difficult to do these when travelling.

    Roku

    I was a fan of Xbmc for a long time. A Roku made me change over to Plex and I've got to really like it. I did need to set up a Linux box with Plex Media Server though. I never got Netflix working consistently on Kodi either. On Plex that's straightforward.

    OpenPLi problem

    On my TM Nano 3T Combo with OpenPlI I was getting tuner failure problms everytime it came out of standby mode. The only fix was to install a new image. I tried every possible fix but none worked. Eventually I change to OpenVix and the problem has never happened since. Has anyone else seen...
