It's not really an engima 2 box, it uses an sh4 processor instead of the MIPS that are used in enigma 2 boxes. It can however run a ported version of an engima 2 image.

Is there a way to add Irish terrestrial channels as an option? Instead of updated the channel list and having to rescan on the dvb-t tuner?

I would normally use Oscam in a situation like this @Ferret, but for some reason when using oscam it fails to clear 3pm kick offs, it works fine as soon as the match is over, but cccam clears the 3pm no problem.

Yeah just need to call up to his now, I suppose if cccam is doing its job I could just use oscam (with the the mgcamd line) as the 2nd cam and read it from there.

lets say the brother is watching a channel and mgcamd is clearing it , and one of the clients requests to watch setanata , will it work ok and cccam work away as it should sharing it?

I'll check that and see if the option is there, I know on the menu it has cam 1 and cam 2, but if the 2 cams were running at the same time, what decides which cam will open the channel? I could be wrong but if you start cccam 1st and then mgcamd that its supposed to work away ok.

Just an update I'm on the hdfreaks image now, still couldn't get cccam to work all the time but I'm now on oscam as a client only and seems to be working fine, still can't understand why cccam would work for a few mins and then just stop???

ordered one thursday night, freetv dot ie are doing 10% off at the moment so managed to get it for 230 euro delivered. So be here early next week :)

with the exchange rate m8, works out around 250 euro anyway and makes it easier to buy in Lreland as if there is any hassle would be easier for any returns.
