As was said ifa, but I've never had to change settings on the dbox as ifa works by listening for a dbox to connect on the network (doesn't matter about ip's etc) and then pushes the image on to it

ifa should connect automatically make sure the box is off until you're told to plug it in

yep ifa for me just get your image and load ifa then boot your box

you can use a dbox (stb with linux) to record to your xbox think it's available with the latest xbmc

you don't need a cross over cable or a null modem just use your router (negates the need for cross over) and IFA. IFA 'listens' for a dbox boot and finds it independant of it's ip address, that's why you can use it for a kein system (bad flash). Run IFA and then plug in box and bingo

dbox vote here - get a nokia not a sagam or philips as it's got a better tuner, therefore won't crap out as much requiring a reboot
