    windows 7

I installed it today, and it is all working fine except for one minor issue. I installed latest graphics driver for nvidia 8500GT and the screen went black and never came back on. I went into safe mode, rolled back drivers, restarted with last known working configuration and it worked with...

    good anivirus

When I used AVG and Avast, they always wanted attention. I hate antiviruses that need attention, it's not like their job should need any human interaction other than when a virus is found. I therefore use Comodo internet security. It just sits there and never interrupts you, but does find...

European Windows 7 to ship with no browser

I use chrome, it's much better than firefox, at most things. Still use firefox when doing web design though, it's much more suited for it. But for general day to day usage, none are better than chrome.

    Microsoft to give away anti-virus

Well, you use Windows Firemouth don't you. You have a choice in the matter. And most antiviruses do too much imo.

    Microsoft to give away anti-virus

You can bash MS all you like, but they are still a hugely successful software company, and do make lots of great software, like Office and Windows (despite what people say). As for the anti-virus software, if it uses little processing power and RAM, and if it has a good set of definitions, it...

European Windows 7 to ship with no browser

Two thoughts: How is this possible as I thought IE was built into the kernal? Also, how are you supposed to download another browser without one to begin with lol.
