I had a freeview ariel fitted a few years ago, correct type for transmitter but every summer it's the same, good weather bad picture. signal level 94% (today) Dunno if it's my old eyes but Freesat picture always seems better ?

2 years old thread I know but any box recommended in 2022 ? I have my Sony tv connected to an old sKy dish but The Epg is crap for FTA and sorting channels is chore. Was looking at the freesat UHD box but they seem expensive for just freesat. I get a better picture on tv from the sat tuner over...

We are all just a bunch of old farts lol. I think that "Autotune" has a lot to do with the crap produced. Makes so called pop stars out of anyone. The local commercial radio stations just keep pumping out the same tunes over and over day in day out. Thank goodness for internet radio

As title what DNS settings are you using ? I was using the ISP settings (BT) and was getting slow respose at times I'm now using 1.1.1.1 primary 8.8.8.8 secondary. Any better options or stick with these settings?

Using a voucher recieved, I Just got myself a nice little 2 bay hdd dock/clone unit. For under £16 bargain of the year so far. ( ok we are only 2 days in but hey it still counts)

Good free app on android for 08 numbers, via play store. WeQ4U https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orderlysoftware&hl=en_GB used it loads of times, saved me a fortune.

Mines gotta be my Logitech One remote control. Once setup it controls my TV, Blue-ray . AV amp, freeviex box & my ATV media box. switches between whatever you wanna watch or listen to at the touch of a button. No more looking for which control does what, so simple even the mrs can use it ;)
