I have a piece of meteorite,

The Enstatite-rich Al Haggounia 001 meteorite was found in 2006. Some material from the same meteorite has also been reported under the name of Northwest Africa 2828 (NWA 2828). Approximately 3 tons are reported to have been found strewn over 40-50 kilometers including both Morocco and Western Sahara. The material appears to be quite old — perhaps 20,000 years — and is heavily weathered. The Enstatite is accompanied by Fe-Ni metal, sulfides, graphite, and Schreibersite. The Meteoritical Society web site have labelled Al Haggounia 001 as an Aubrite (enstatite achondrite)[As of November 2013]. However, an Enstatite Chondrite classification [EL3?] has also been argued very forcefully. Relic chondrules, statistical expectations, and chemical-mineralogical arguments have been propounded. It is, for example, unclear how much the original impacting meteorite was spread about by the collision with the earth's atmosphere and how much has been due to subsequent transportation by the infrequent rains.

If that impacted everybody would be out harvesting.

I can't help but think £100M of Platinum would be worth that if it were all brought here!

How do they know its got a platinum core?

I'll shoot it apart with my triangle shaped spaceship and we'll all get a piece. ;)
