Got a new pda today with co-pilot 5 but it aint very good, got a 128mb card but tomtom is to big, anyway round it. any help please

Install tomtom on your PDA memory and put the map in the Card. Should be a stretch but should work. Think the older map is smaller than the new one off memory not too sure tho.

Yes, but it involves money.

You will need a bigger SD Card, you can pick a 2 gig one up for 15 quid delivered now:)

Have a look in the bargain section there is a link in there somewhere:)

i downloaded the new uk maps 6.5 from rapidshare but what files do i need and where do they go (ie folder names)

ordered myself a minisd card now should arrive in a couple of days, got a copy of tomtom5 for now, is there much difference, it fits on a 128 card i know that much

yep its easier to go and by @least a gig , very cheeeeeeeeeeep now a days

memory card

a bigger memory card should help they go cheap now mate

tomtom 6

i have tomtom 6 running on a 256 sd card.i find that it is a lot slower than tomtom 5,also tomtom6 looses the signal a lot more than usual, stick with 5 in my opinion.

HI ,
Can you tell me which files you need to copy for TT 6 to work on a 256 mb card.
I have a few 256 cards, and it seems silly (yes I know how cheap they are) to buy another.

You could delete all the voice files and just keep the one you use but its usually the map files that take the most room, new PDA new memory card is the best solution though :)

There is a program that will compress the SD cards, can't remember the name.
I do have the program on my DT as soon as I find it I'll let you know.
