tom tom uk maps

Guys

any ideas where i can obtain these latest uk maps from as i am going to have a go at updating my tomtom go910 , i am ordering a dock station and new battery of the bay.
so will need these updated maps if anyone can help?

yup doesnt get any better than this.. you will have to download a few tools unlock the system you know the usual stuff

I have signed up to the site mentioned but i am a complete noob and need a little help and guidance with my sat nav if anyone on here can help please post or pm me.

like i said i have a go910 which needs the battery replacing but before i do this i want to update it and put courrent maps on all which i have not got access to.
i need the maps and software and a tutorial if possible , i would be willing to pay for this to be done.

hiya, have you looked on the compatibility chart on that gps underground site to see which map you need mate ? all maps will be on there , what version is your oftware on the tomtom ? 9.4 or sumthing like that

hi mate

i havent had chance to look what version it is tbh how would i find that info?
like i said all new to me this gps thing but i would like to get this sat nav sorted on new firmware and up to date maps ect , i want to replace the battery also as this is defo knackered.

Hiya, i have a go 930 and when i start the tomtom i press on bottom right of screen, and new screen will pop up and near bottom right of screen again it says version 9.430, so map i have gone for is 895.4438, in fact i just got it last night so hopefully be updating mine later on,

Hiya, i could do mate but to be honest its not really that hard, if you learn to do it yourself you can do it everytime a map comes out with out messing about posting it to people, once ive recapped meself how to do mine il let you know how i did it mate,

hiya mate, first thing to do is install latest tomtom home, connect your tomtom to it and accept the updates, should update the navcore to 9.430 but just check , after that download the map you want from gps underground, i have the 2g europe version and the uk and ireland latest maps, i dont think i would be able to upload them here im not sure, plug your tomtom into the pc and browse to it threw my compuiter and make a back up of all the files, once you have your back up delete the map from your tomtom, transfer the new map to your tomtom, with the meta codes txt file (il upload it in aminute) , then transfer factactivate onto your tomtom device (again il upload it in a minute) once it has transfered over double click on fastactivate , you will get a pop up box with 3 different buttons, maps/voices/speedcams and tt system/pndnavigator and tomtom home, you need to click on all 3 buttons, i just did it in order of the buttons, so did maps first, then tt system and then tomtom home, after that your map should be up to date mate,

the dock came and ive updated as far as i can tell via tomtom home but not sure where i find my navcore version? and not sure what to do here now can you help?

my sat nav is all up and running again , took a bit of tinkering and file adding buit well worth it and a big thanks to dilly for helping me and sending me in the right direction.

Got a Tom Tom Start 60 with no extra memory slot , how I can get latest 2016 map and where to get them without going to the tom tom site .
Also where what are the file names please.
