Had a 6800HD Super+ for awhile. Thought about upgading to a newer TM. Like the spec of the 8000, but seems to have too many issues and not much unofficial backup. Like the M3 but that also seems to have teething probs and issues. Probably best to wait and see how the M3 develops, although of the 2 prefer the 8000.
Any advice would be good.

get yourself a TM5402HD M2 ,regards mdt

I think all the issues with the M3 have just about been fixed with the latest patch but I'm not sure what the advantage is of having an M3,over an M2?
If you still have the 6800 Super you could always load the latest patch,7.60p,which would give you a lot of what the 5402 can do....I think.

Still loads of problems with the M3 forget the M2 different factory if needs must try and source a second hand Mark 1 version or even a Dr HD F15 or a Blade 7000s if picture quality is one of your main priority's

I thought that the picture quality between the M2 and M3 had been recently compared,on the latest patches, and was found to be the same. Also the only difference between the M1 and M2 is a chip to stop cloning. Are there picture quality issues between these two as well?

You cant have the same picture quality on 2 machines that use totally different Boards/chipsets, It appears that to cut costs and its not only TM but also Clarke-Tech,DrHD etc.. have all shifted to having receivers made in China its far cheaper.

But at what Cost
